SFACS is managed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools
1450 NE 2nd Avenue | Miami, FL 33132 | 305-995-1000
At the forefront of school choice, Miami-Dade Public Schools has created a hybrid chartering model—District-managed Charter Schools. In this model, a non-profit governing board employs Miami-Dade County Public Schools to assist in the development of the charter school and manage their back office and general operations in lieu of hiring an expensive, for-profit management company. This option provides affordable solutions to assist new and fledgling charter schools with the successful best practices and resources used in M-DCPS ultimately supporting innovative, well-intentioned charter schools.
